About the Corinth Campus

For over three decades, North Central Texas College has been responding to the education and training needs of Denton County citizens — bridging the gap between programs and services offered by local high schools and Denton's two universities. Denton County, in fact, is a part of NCTC's statutorily-designated service area, which also includes Cooke and Montague counties. With the opening of the Corinth Campus in January 2000, NCTC demonstrated its commitment to fulfill its role as a comprehensive public community college and today boasts an enrollment of over 6,000 students in the Corinth Campus. NCTC offers Dual Credit classes in conjunction with the local High Schools, medical degrees and certifications, technical degrees and certifications, computer degrees and certifications and the ever popular associate degrees.

Who attends the Corinth campus?

Don't look for a "typical" community college student at NCTC.  Students of all ages and with different educational goals find that the NCTC Corinth Campus is able to meet their needs.  Many of our students complete their freshman and sophomore-level  core course work and obtain their Assoicates of Arts or Associates of Science degree then transfer to a 4-year college or university.  Other students complete an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree or Certificate and directly enter the workforce as nurses, surgical technologists, EMS paramedics, computer network engineers and many other kinds of trained professionals.

Campus Safety and Security Controls

Providing a safe and secure learning environment is of utmost importance at NCTC. First and foremost students, employees and visitors on campus should be protected from potentially dangerous, violent, or threatening situations. Secondarily, the equipment, physical resources, and campus facilities should be protected.

In case of emergency, call 911.
