on successful career experiences as an athlete, student and
high school coach.
A

College on a basketball scholarship, winning Academic
All-American honors in 1989-90 and 1990-91. She transferred
to Tarleton State University helping lead the TexAnns to the
National Tournament and twice more achieving Academic All
American status. As a senior, she was named TexAnn of the

In
her tenth year at NCTC, Coach Bullard is pushing for continued
team improvement. In Bullard's first season, the Lady Lions
were ousted early in the regional tournament. In the following
three seasons her teams reached the tournament semi-finals.
In 2004, the team reached the regional finals. In 2005, the Lady Lions were Regional Champions and advanced to the National Tournament. In 2006 and 2007, the team finished as Regional Finalists. The 2008 Lions were regional semi-finalists.
Besides
solid on-court performance, Bullard is proud of the Lady Lions
academic record. "We expect our players to perform on the
court and in the classroom," says Bullard. "When we recruit,
we go after players we believe will excel as students as well
as athletes."
Outside
coaching, Bullard enjoys athletics and outdoor activities
including golf and horseback riding. She is married to Joe
Bullard, a teacher and coach at Aubrey High School. Together,
they have a daughter, Lindsey, who is the Lions' ball girl. |
