NCTC Scholarship Program—The scholarship program at North Central Texas College is designed to attract outstanding students based upon academic achievement, leadership qualities, character and financial need. This application form is for general, NCTC Foundation, Mary Josephine Cox and departmental scholarships. Students wishing to apply for any externally funded scholarships must submit this application. Please complete and submit the following application. In order for your application to be considered you must print out the certification statement and mail or fax to the NCTC Foundation Office.

Read all general instructions before submitting applications.

  1. Complete all sections of the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  2. Submit scholarship application and mail or fax all supporting materials by April 15 for the fall semester and October 15 for the spring semester.
  3. High school seniors must mail or fax an official transcript that includes grades, class ranking, and ACT or SAT scores to the NCTC Foundation.
  4. If you are currently enrolled in college or have attended college you must mail or fax an official transcript to the NCTC Foundation Office.
  5. Applicants must be eligible for admission to NCTC in accordance with existing policies detailed in the current General Catalog.
  6. Eligibility requirements vary for each of the Foundation Scholarships including residency requirements, GPA, full-time or part-time student, field of study, etc. The NCTC Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee will determine which scholarships you are eligible for.
  7. Recipients must enroll as a full-time student at NCTC, unless stated otherwise in the Scholarship Handbook.
  8. Recipients must fulfill and maintain the grade point requirements of the scholarship for which application is being made.
  9. Rating of applications includeGPA, extracurricular activities and honors received. List all honors and activities from high school, college, community, church and employment.
  10. Scholarship funds may not be applied towards classes taken as dual credit.
