Date:February 25, 2014
GRAHAM – A unique guided hunting trip resulted in both fun for hunters and added scholarship money for North Central Texas College.
The NCTC Graham Foundation hosted the “Shootout on the Prairie” on Feb. 15 at the Turtle Hole Ranch.
Fourteen hunters participated in this unique hunt of quail and pheasant.
Brazos Wingventures guided the hunt that provided lots of action for the hunters. Michael and Kelly Carmichael coordinated the event.
Proceeds from the event will provide scholarships for students attending NCTC’s Graham campus.
“We appreciate all of the efforts that Michael and Kelly Carmichael and their crew put into the coordination of this event,” NCTC Vice-President of Institutional Advancement Debbie Sharp said. “We also appreciate all those that participated in the hunt and dinner. This event helps provide scholarships for students attending the Graham campus. The Tower Shoot allows individuals to not only have a fun time but to help others to better themselves through education.”
