The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a non-profit professional business consulting service providing assistance and training to owners, managers, and employees of small businesses in Cooke, Denton, and Montague, counties. The SBDC also works with potential entrepreneurs in the planning stages of their business. As a part of a nationwide network of Small Business Development Centers, the NCTC/SBDC is able to provide assistance, information, and resources through this network and regional specialty centers. The NCTC/SBDC offers assistance that might otherwise be unavailable to the small business owner or entrepreneurs.

the past year the North Central Texas College/Small Business Development
Center has worked with over 350 clients providing over 1200 counseling
hours and helping to establish 56 new businesses and creating 84
new jobs!
