NCTC Foundation Scholarships

Mary Josephine Cox Scholarship – Awarded based on special need, special competency, or scholarship, must have a 3.0 GPA, under 21 years old, and graduate of a Cooke County High School or parents must own property in Cooke County. Awards are $ 100.00 for Fall and Spring ONLY (no summer awards). If student maintain 3.0 GPA award can continue for five semesters. Applications are located in the Financial Aid Office.

Deadlines: April 15 for Fall & October 15 for Spring.

NCTC Scholarships – NCTC has one application for general NCTC Foundation and departmental scholarships. Applications are available online, in the Financial Aid Department and in the NCTC Foundation Office. The Foundation office will try to match the student with a scholarship. Each scholarship has its own requirements. Amounts of the scholarships vary from $500 to $2000. ONLINE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Deadlines: April 15 for Fall & October 15 for Spring.

William E. Culp Math & Science Scholarship – The scholarship will be offered for the academic year (Fall and Spring). Each semester, you must be enrolled in and complete at least 12 hours of college work at NCTC with a 3.0 G.P.A. High School applicants must rank in the top 20 % of their class. Both college and high school applicants must have an official copy of their transcript to apply.

Friends of Agriculture – The scholarships will be offered for the academic year (Fall and Spring). Awards are $ 500 a semester. Must be a full-time student with a major in Agriculture or related major. Preference will be given to Cooke, Montague, and Denton County Residents.

Residential Life Scholarship – The scholarships will be offered for the academic year (Fall and Spring). Awards are $ 400.00 a semester. Must be a full-time student who has excelled in Leadership, Academics, or Music. Preference will be given to Cooke, Montague, and Denton County Residents.
