The EMS Department offers a variety of classes, including EMT Basic, Paramedic and a

RN to Paramedic Bridge program.

Important Notice:

The following tasks listed below must be completed before you register for courses.  Registration dates vary but the EMS program begins registering on the first day of Early Registration on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The EMS Program accepts students on a first-come, first-serve basis until courses are full. On the day you register, please bring proof (i.e. copies of documents)  that you have completed these requirements. The documentation of tasks listed below can only be accepted on the day you register, the department cannot accept documentation before the day of registration or after registration. If a student fails to bring all required documentation listed below on registration day, he/she will not be allowed to register.

Requirements for all EMS Classes.

• Complete an Student Information Form to the EMS Program
• Physical
• Immunizations
• Drug Screen
• CPR Certification for the Health Care Provide (online courses not accepted)
• Copy of current Driver's License
• Be 18 years old
• Be a high school graduate or have a GED
• Student must have health insurance 

Please note that the physical and drug screen may be administered by the medical and drug screen facilities of your choice.

Spots for the EMS Program is on a first-come, first-serve basis. A student will only be registered for EMS classes if they have all of the required forms and certifications turned into the EMS department. Paperwork that is sent in to the office prior to the day the student registers for courses will not be accepted!
