Mary Bruce graduated from a BSN program at University of Central Oklahoma in 1981 and received her Master’s Degree in Education with a focus in Gerontology in 1986. She is currently taking courses toward another Master’s Degree in Nursing through Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her work experience has been in Emergency Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Home Health, and Long Term Care. Ms. Bruce was a consultant for a Long Term Care company for 12 years. She also developed a Certified Nursing Assistant course and taught that for 4 years. Additional teaching experience has been in Oklahoma where she taught in an LVN program for 2 years before moving to Texas and coming to work at North Central Texas College.
