TECA1318 - Nutrition, Health and Safety of Young Children

This semester, we will study the factors that impact the well-being of the young child including healthy behavior, food, nutrition, fitness, and safety practices. We will do this by utilizing the textbook along with current events to discuss how to use this information to the fullest benefit for children. I hope that by taking this course that you will learn more about nutrition, health and safety to help you become a better future educator and/or parent. This course has a required 16 hour Field Experience.
