“The LGBTQ+ community has always been looked down upon in my home town. Because of that I had to watch family and friends struggle to be comfortable in their own skin. I can not think of a better way to advocate and support the LGBTQ+ community than being a mentor. I hope this affinity group will provide individuals with a safe space, support and the opportunity to connect with others”
