EKG/Telemetry Technician Program Overview
Tech Monitors maintain EKG machines and act as the “ears and eyes” for doctors and patients. Our program is a great, additional certification for people already working in an allied health care profession, or for those who want to find an entry-level hospital job outside of nursing such as EMS, Patient Care Technician, Medical Assistant.
This course requires 64 lecture/lab contact hours. Students can attempt the CET certification exam offered through the National Healthcare Association (NHA) upon successful completion of classroom hours.

ECRD 1091 CERTIFIED EKG/TELEMETRY TECHNICIAN
Admission Requirements
Age Requirements: 18+ at registration
Basic Reading and Math Assessment (CASAS)
Must show proof of high school diploma, GED or college transcripts
