CENTRAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In this Occupational Skills Award program, instruction covers safeguarding patients from infection and disease controls and procedures to produce a sterile clinical and operating room environment.
This program requires 48 lecture/lab contact hours and 112 hours of clinical externship. After successful completion of this program students can attempt the certification exam to receive the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.

SRGT 1166 CST EXTERNSHIP - ONSITE TRAINING
Admission Requirements
Age Requirements: 18+ at registration
Basic Reading and Math Assessment (CASAS)
Criminal Background Check
Must have proof of high school diploma, GED or college transcripts
Must provide proof of current Immunizations
Must have current CPR certification or enroll in the CPR section
GED/High School Diploma (required for OSA)
