Level 1 Certificate

  • Normally requires 1-year of coursework and is designed to meet specific needs of the community

    • Some certifications are earned in less than 1-year. Ask an Advisor for details

  • Prepares student for occupational employment

  • Awarded upon successful completion of specific courses that have been industry validated and sequenced for the purpose of developing and upgrading skills in an occupation

  • For students who want to enter the workforce after completing the program

  • Credits earned achieving a Level 1 Certificate can often be applied toward an AAS Degree at NCTC
