Manager Academy

The NCTC Manager Academy seeks to enhance management preparedness through human resources manager training and supervisory skills development workshops to full-time employees in positions that provide supervision to others. The Manager Academy is meant to provide valuable and tangible skills development to train, support, and develop mid-managers, build collaborative relationships, as well as positively impact the culture and working environment at NCTC.

Each cohort actively participates in a year-long professional learning community that consists of HR Technical Training, Development Workshops, Book Discussion Group, Project Development and Implementation, and continued collaborative management team support. The academy aligns with NCTC’s values of Institutional Excellence, embracing Innovation, and Caring about student success by investing in an employee base of reliable, principled, engaged, and inspired professionals that are valued, and likewise invest and value others.
