 Student Government Association

NCTC Student Government Association (SGA) works to effectively represent student needs and concerns. For more information about their purpose read the SGA Constitution.

After identifying an area for improvement on campus, SGA brainstorms possible solutions, and communicates with the appropriate offices on campus to make a more successful NCTC experience wherever possible. Students are invited to attend the monthly SGA meetings that are hosted online through Webex. Meeting dates and links are posted in the Student Life/SGA canvas group.

All students are welcomed to attend meetings and speak, contact sga@nctc.edu for access.

Holding a Board/Officer Position in SGA

Students wanting to hold a position should read the SGA Constitution for officer descriptions, expectations and requirements. The self nomination form and election information are located in the Student Life/SGA Canvas Group.

  2. Elections: September 28

  3. Training: TBD

General Meetings are held virtually once a month on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM. Officer Meetings are held once a month based off of the officer’s schedules.

Student Organization Funding

The first 5 Registered Student Organizations who are active in Student Government, turn in 4 Activity Approval forms, and complete the Risk Management Training are given $100.*

For additional funding complete the Budget Allocation Form.
