Once classes begin, a final drop will take place on each semester/term’s Official Date of Record for students who still have an account balance and/or no payment arrangements.
The Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) is open year-round so apply NOW if you need assistance paying for college, and also complete the NCTC Scholarship application when available! If awarded Financial Aid, your FAFSA is good for the entire academic year (Fall through the following Summer).
You can also set up a Payment Plan and the earlier you register, the better (less money down, and more time to pay)!
Review how to use your aid or set up payment for one more more semesters below, and remember if you no longer want to be enrolled and are unable to drop classes online through MyNCTC, contact advising@nctc.edu for assistance. Students are responsible for dropping unwanted courses prior to the first day of that semester in order to receive a full refund, per the Business Office Refund Policy.
How to Pay for Classes
Students can find their Account Balance/tuition and fees for any and all enrolled semesters by logging into MyNCTC, selecting the Student Services tab, and then choosing Financial from the left-hand menu. Acceptable methods of payment include:
Establishing a payment plan
Accepting a Financial Aid award
Paying in full through MyNCTC, in person, or by phone with any NCTC Business Office
-
Log into OneLogin.
Click MyNCTC. You should be already logged in.
Select the Student Services tab.
Click on Financial on the left-hand menu.
In the Payment Options box on the right-hand side, select the semester/term from the drop-down menu to view your bill and payment options (if you accepted Financial Aid you will see that applied to your balance).
You will now see links at the bottom of the page to pay in full or by payment plan. You can also pay in full at any NCTC Business Office in person or by phone.
-
Students who are utilizing Financial Aid for payment must have completed all requirements and accepted their awards through their Financial Aid portal, also found on the Financial page on MyNCTC. Pending Financial Aid award amounts must show on the student’s account balance in order to avoid being dropped per the schedule listed above.
Contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@nctc.edu for questions about your aid.
-
Students taking full advantage of Lion365 and enrolling for more than one semester (Fall, Spring, and/or Summer) must set up a separate payment plan for each individual semester.
Make sure your NCTC OneLogin and student email account are set up so you receive important updates such as payment reminders or Financial Aid status.
For additional information about payment plans or student bills, please contact the Business Office.
