NCTC Celebrates Fall Commencement
North Central Texas College celebrated its Fall 2024 graduates with two commencement ceremonies held on December 13th at the Gainesville campus.
Among the 289 graduates, nine earned the distinction of Summa Cum Laude for achieving a 4.0 GPA: Bailee Elizabeth Watson, Sunita Thapaliya Kanal, Virgil S. Woods, L. Brandon Johnston, Joshua Matthew Black, Lauren Butler, Yeeun Kim, Riley Ann Pirkle, and Kaytlin Steele.
Eight students graduated Magna Cum Laude with GPAs ranging from 3.90 to 3.99: Sara Barnes, Wendy Stewart-Hamilton, Andrew Budnick, Wesley Harlan Plemons, Rodolfo Vargas, Kayla Guerra, Jason L. Mayne, and James Cortese.
Graduates received their diplomas from NCTC Chancellor Dr. Brent Wallace, and the commencement address was delivered by NCTC faculty member William Hill.
