NCTC received funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) through a Commercial Motor Vehicle Operational Safety (CMVOST) grant for fiscal year 2024. The funding will expand the number of commercial driver’s license (CDL) holders who have enhanced operator safety training.

The Texas Emergency Aid Roadmap Grant, funded by the Greater Texas Foundation, is coming to a close while North Central Texas College couldn’t be prouder of the impact the program made on NCTC student’s lives. NCTC has been invited by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to join ten Texas community colleges in launching a statewide Course Sharing program that will increase access to online courses for students enrolled in Texas colleges and universities. As part of this project, NCTC students will have the opportunity to co-enroll in partnering community colleges and complete online academic, career, and technical courses that will count towards certificate and degree completion.
